This is a beginners portrait photography workshop looking at how to set up a simple home studio and create different portrait styles using light and coloured gels.

Danielle graduated from John Moores University with a degree in Documentrary and Fine Art Photography and worked for 13 years on numerous Dramas, TV Shows, Commercials and magazine shoots, before joining ITV as a photographer. Capturing stills from the scenes and creating portraits and styled shoots for magazine layout pictures to promote Coronation Street and Emmerdale. You will have seen her work on the front of many a TV magazine or social media promotion for ITV.

This workshop will cover how to set up Key light/ Fill and Rim light. How to use Lighting tools like Use of reflectors/ Coloured gels/ and how to change the lighting to creative different effects. Danielle will show you how she created a few of the classic Coronation Street portraits you will have seen in recent years in magazines and online and how you can do this too

These sessions are aimed at beginners, improvers and intermediates  - not a family event over 18s only.
